The story of Youngju, who has lived in Korea her whole life, and Isaac, who has lived in America his whole life, and their first encounter. Feat. You're so handsome

We met ‘by chance’ at a bar in Apgujeong Rodeo.

One day, four of us girls went to a bar because a close friend’s acquaintance had opened one. I was dancing in front when a man who looked clean and bright came in, and at first sight, I thought, “I wish he would talk to me.”

Then, feeling hungry, we decided to go eat kimchi jjigae and got up to put on our coats, when that shining man spoke to me. “Want to play darts with me?”

Not wanting to miss the opportunity, I told my friends that I met a guy I liked and wanted to talk to him, so they should go to the restaurant first. I sent my friends off and had my first conversation with him in front of the dartboard.

I’m usually very straightforward. Looking at his face, I said three times, “You are so handsome. 너무 잘생겼어요”

I heard later that Isaac thought I was drunk. I said he was handsome three times while smiling…I wasn’t drunk, it was just my #brightcleargaze

He had worked at a bank on Wall Street in New York for seven years and was traveling the world on a gap year. On his first day in Korea after his trip to Taiwan, he walked through Rodeo with a friend, saw a new bar, went inside, and met me there. Listening to Isaac’s story of that day, he said that when he entered the bar, he thought I was tall and pretty, so he kept saying to his friend next to him, “I want to talk to that girl,” and kept worrying about it. He said that he finally worked up the courage to talk to me when he saw me getting dressed and leaving.

And so, we met by chance, and found each other at first sight.
