2024 Life Year-End Review

1. Questions for Self-Reflection

What was your most "you" moment this year? Moving to the US. What are you most proud of accomplishing this year? Making the biggest decision of my life, getting married. What emotions challenged you this year, and how did you overcome them? The anxiety I felt before moving to the US. After coming to the US, I became much happier, so I overcame it. (It was a needless worry, a waste of time) What made you laugh the most this year? Newlywed life! What was the most effective effort you made for your health this year? Daily walks, exercising twice a week.

2. Questions for Reflecting on Relationships

Who were you most grateful for this year? My whole family! Who did you think about the most this year? My 15-year-old self. Who did you share the most special moments with this year? My husband, Isaac. Who helped you grow this year? Jungju. The process of becoming independent was difficult, but we were able to grow together. Did you make any new connections this year? If so, what did that connection mean to you? Isaac's friends became my friends.

3. Questions for Reflecting on Achievements and Learning

Which of your goals did you most successfully achieve this year? Getting married and immigrating to the US. What was the most memorable challenge you undertook this year? Winning the AWE US Embassy Women's Entrepreneurship Program and receiving support to go to Washington, D.C. What did you learn this year that had the biggest impact on your life? Rest is a blessing! Rest is truly... truly good. What was your most valuable failure this year? Not completing my book. The value I found in it...was realizing that I wasn't ready. What new hobbies or interests did you start this year? Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Rumba! Choosing ballroom dancing as a lifelong hobby with my husband and learning it!

What was your favorite place this year? PALOS VERDES, our neighborhood What item made your daily life more comfortable this year? A blender for fresh fruit juice What habit enriched your life this year? Walking for 40 minutes every day When was the most special moment you spent alone? Lying on the beach alone and reading a book What piece of content (book, movie, music, etc.) did you experience this year that was most impressive? GOOD PLACE. The realization that having everything you want and living forever isn't happiness. It's the imperfections and limited time that make time valuable.

5. Questions to Capture Gratitude and Hope

What was the moment you were most grateful for this year? Going to Isaac's brother's grave with all the guests the day after the wedding. What was the most memorable gift you received this year? The proposal and the diamond ring. What was the most meaningful act of kindness you showed to another person this year? Inviting people to my home and cooking for them. In what areas do you want to grow more next year? English / Business / Creator. Getting to know and studying America better! What is one thing you want to tell yourself next year? Youngju! Leave it to God. He gives you the best things, doesn't He? Don't try to do it yourself, trust and leave it to Him. God will guide your life.
